Medaille d'Amour Essential is an exact reproduction of Alphonse Augis’ illustration of a verse from a poem by Rosemonde Gérard Rostand, wife of the writer Edmond Rostand.

The Medaille d'Amour was created in 1907 at the Lyon-based workshops of Maison Augis.

This version of the Medaille d'Amour Essential is stamped in 18-carat gold, hand-finished, and set with a blue stone. The diamond within the + sign and the synthetic sapphire are characteristic of this iconic design. The 0.0145-carat diamond features SI2 clarity and H (white) colour.

The diameter is 18 millimetres. Its average weight is 3.15 grams. It is topped with an oval pendant ring.
