The Medaille d’Amour Essential Mini is an exact reproduction of Alphonse Augis’ illustration of a verse from a poem by Rosemonde Gérard Rostand, wife of the writer Edmond Rostand. The Medaille d'Amour was created in 1907 at the Lyon-based workshops of Maison Augis.

This mini version of the Medaille d’Amour Essential is stamped in 18-carat gold and set with a red stone. The diamond-set + sign and the synthetic ruby are characteristic of this iconic design.

The 0.0045-carat diamond features SI2 clarity and H (white) colour.

The diameter is 12 millimetres. Its average weight in gold is 1.50 grams. It is topped with an oval pendant ring.
