In order to preserve the longevity of your Augis jewelry, we recommend the following :
Avoid contact with detergents, abrasives or chemicals that may be found in perfumes, creams, hydroalcoholic gels or cleaning products, especially for resin jewelry.
Handle your jewelry with care, taking care to remove it in the following situations: sporting activities, swimming at the beach or pool.
Avoid friction between stones and metals when storing your jewelry.
If in doubt about the condition of your Augis jewel, we recommend that you have it checked by one of our craftsmen.
An emblematic, highly symbolic medal, the Miraculous Medal was designed in 1830 following the Marian apparitions in Paris. It shows the Madonna standing on a globe, crushing the serpent of Satan underfoot.
Rays of light emanate from her hands. Around the edge of the medal are the words "O Marie conçue sans péché, priez pour nous qui avons recours à vous” (“O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee”). On the back is a large M, the initial of Mary, interlaced with a cross. Above it are two hearts: the heart of Jesus, crowned with thorns, and that of Mary, speared with a sword. The design is surrounded by twelve stars.
This oval medal is crafted in 18-carat yellow gold. It features a satin finish. The Miraculous Madonna appears on the medal. This medal measures 21 millimetres long and 14 millimetres wide. Its average weight in gold is 4.35 grams. It is topped with an oval pendant ring.
