In order to preserve the longevity of your Augis jewelry, we recommend the following :

  • Avoid contact with detergents, abrasives or chemicals that may be found in perfumes, creams, hydroalcoholic gels or cleaning products, especially for resin jewelry.
  • Handle your jewelry with care, taking care to remove it in the following situations: sporting activities, swimming at the beach or pool.
  • Avoid friction between stones and metals when storing your jewelry.
  • If in doubt about the condition of your Augis jewel, we recommend that you have it checked by one of our craftsmen.

With these ring designs Maison Augis offers you a whole new way to wear your Medaille d’Amour The Original. A re-edition of an original model from the ’70s, The Original is an iconic model from our collections.

It is crafted in 18-carat yellow gold and finished with a shiny polish.  You may wear it on the finger of your choice or the left ring finger for extra-special symbolism: the Médaille d’Amour Original ring is the not-to-be-missed souvenir of your beloved.

An emblematic medal of Maison Augis, the Médaille d'Amour was designed in 1907 at our Lyon-based workshops. It interprets the lines from the famous poem “The Song Everlasting” by Rosemonde Rostand – “For, you see, each day I love you more, Today more than yesterday and less than tomorrow” – using the symbolic language “+ qu’hier – que demain” – “- que demain” (less than tomorrow).
