Discover the Christogram baptism medal by Maison Augis. This round medal with a hand-patinated finish is crafted in 18-carat yellow gold. The Christogram, or Monogram of Christ, appears on the medal. It is a Christian symbol formed of the letters X and P, the first two letters of his name in Greek. They are accompanied with the letters Alpha and Omega, symbolising the beginning and the end. Given by a godmother for a birth or baptism, a Christ medal symbolises the precious bond between the newborn child and the Son of God. We offer complimentary engraving if you would like to personalise the medal. You might add a name, date of birth, initials or just a single word. The medal’s diameter is 18 millimetres. It is topped with an oval pendant ring. Its average weight in gold is 2.60 grams. |
